Attorney Robert Schaefer is a loyal advocate helping families put their minds at ease by implementing plans that secure their assets for future generations. Since joining Sawyer and Associates in 2025, his primary focus has been trusts and estates, probate, and will caveats. He has prepared hundreds of estate plans and helps clients establish wills, trusts, and business succession plans that provide lasting peace of mind.
Robert became an attorney to fight for American citizens and demonstrate that everyone deserves their rights in every instance. He previously practiced as a criminal defense attorney and chose to channel the same vigor and perseverance into positive work—helping clients secure what they have built for their families and heirs.
Robert received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University in 2015. Before entering the legal profession, he was a Certified Executive Chef and spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry. Notable achievements from his legal career include successfully negotiating six-figure settlements with municipal governments, defending the constitutional rights of criminally charged clients, and securing acquittals through jury trials in County, District, and Federal court.
Robert is eager to help forward thinkers develop comprehensive plans that protect what they have worked hard to build and ensure it passes to their families and heirs. He is currently barred in North Carolina and Nebraska.
